German Future Prize
The German Future Prize is one of Germany's most prestigious awards for science and innovation. It is presented by the Federal President in person, comes with EUR 250,000 in prize money and is broadcast on ZDF.
For the 2024 and 2025 editions, I translated the foreword by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the texts of all six nominated teams into Easy Language. 2024: intelligent LED technology (ams OSRAM / Fraunhofer), generative AI (LMU Munich / Nyris) and energy-saving chips. 2025: a fuel-cell drive for trucks (Robert Bosch), biomaterials (traceless materials) and eye-laser technology (Carl Zeiss Meditec).
The checking was carried out by the Büro für Leichte Sprache Iserlohn.

For the digital DARP funding guide, I worked on source texts and Easy Language content. The project helps funding bodies to plan, structure and communicate their funding programmes more clearly.

Editing and accessible preparation of the digital impact report for a nationwide social enterprise. Seniorpartner in School trains volunteer mediators and places them in schools – over 1,800 members, 1,300 active mediators at 426 schools across Germany.

English-language premium editing for marketing material for a whisky tasting event at Fotografiska Berlin. Art cards by the sumi-e artist Katja Hiendlemayer and tasting leaflets for the brands Hibiki, Hakushu 12 and Yamazaki 18.
International film and TV industry
Translation and quality assurance of content for the international film and TV industry. Subtitling, dubbing and metadata for global streaming platforms.
